Lake County sheriff announces holiday moratorium on evictions

Lake County Sheriff John Idleburg this week announced a moratorium on all evictions would go into effect Friday, Dec. 21, and continue through Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019.

"The moratorium is only temporary and will allow families to remain together in their homes during the holiday season, which I believe is important," Idleburg said in the announcement.
