Carol Stream woman passing $100 on to neighbor to help care for son

Today's recipient of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Laurel Dubowski of Carol Stream. Here is an excerpt of her story:

"I have a neighbor who lost her husband to a heart attack a few weeks ago. He was only 52.

"Now she is left alone to take care of her 18-year-old son who has autism. She could really use the $100 to help her out during this coming holiday season."

• The Believe Project is awarding at least $100 each day in December to people with good ideas for how to use the money to do a good deed for someone else.
