Bartlett stays perfect in Upstate Eight

Freshman Mackenzie Hare made six 3-point baskets and scored 21 points in Bartlett's 58-38 win over East Aurora on Friday in a matchup of Upstate Eight Conference unbeatens.

Justina Hernandez added 15 points and Lexie Sinclair scored 7 for Bartlett (7-2, 4-0).

Alexis Wesley led East Aurora (5-4, 3-1) with 17 points.

Kaneland 56, Rosary 27: Eight different players scored at least 4 points for the Knights (4-3) in the nonconference win. Chloe Conley scored 10 points, Hannah Armin had 9 points and 4 rebounds, Kelsey Modaff had 8 points and 5 rebounds, and Linsey Turner chipped in 7 points.

Hampshire 52, Crystal Lake Central 40: The Whip-Purs outscored the Tigers 20-5 for a comeback win in Fox Valley Conference action. Kelby Bannerman had 16 points and 10 rebounds, Sarah Bowen scored 12 points with 5 rebounds and 3 steals, and Katie Del Re added 4 assists, 4 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals for the Whip-Purs (8-2, 4-0), who have won seven straight.
