Library's future protected

When Batavia Public Library asked voters to redirect funds for maintenance and repair of the library building and site on the November ballot, Batavians said, "Yes."

Approval of this referendum ensures that the library can fund the capital asset plan for repair and maintenance of the library, build a fund for ongoing maintenance and preserve services. All of this is accomplished with a zero tax rate change.

Thank you, Batavia. Our library faces a bright future providing "Knowledge for the City of Energy."
