Hawthorn Woods considers road options

Hawthorn Woods residents are invited to open houses to provide input on proposed street repairs and funding options.

The sessions will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10 and Wednesday, Dec. 12, at the village barn, 2 Lagoon Drive, and from 10 a.m. to noon at the Aquatic Center, 94 Midlothian Road.

Village officials say street repairs are needed now to buy time before more costly reconstruction is needed. The same information will be available at all meetings and visitors can drop by anytime during the sessions.
