Grayslake holiday open house

The Grayslake Historical Society will host a holiday open house from 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9, that includes a visit from Santa at the Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum, 164 Hawley St., Grayslake. The event will include refreshments, children's crafts and a visit from Santa where pictures can be taken with him in the historical society's vintage sleigh. The Warren Township High School Alumni Choir will sing Christmas carols at 2 p.m. Admission is free. For information contact ChaRenehan@aol.com.
