Downtown Barrington crossing closing for repairs Thursday

The intersection of Cook Street and East Main Street (Lake-Cook Road) in downtown Barrington will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday for scheduled maintenance by Union Pacific Railroad, village officials said Tuesday.

Travelers are asked to take alternate routes to avoid the area if possible.
