No injuries in Lombard house fire

A fire Sunday in a Lombard home caused less than $5,000 damage, authorities said Monday.

Firefighters responded at 9:30 a.m. to a report of a structure fire on the 1300 block of Lore Lane near the intersection of Main Street and Roosevelt Road.

Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the attic of the single-story house. Firefighters extinguished the blaze in less than 10 minutes, officials said.

No injuries were reported, and investigators are still probing the cause of the fire.
