How can so many put trust in a liar?
I'm intrigued by my fellow writers to this column who, in speaking of our current president, use the terms, "I like what he does but not what he says." So I ask them, "Are you content with a man who uses more mis-truths/lies/misnomers than facts, honesty and honest dialogue? And this, while finding an eager audience to accept these perpetual lies as truths?
The lies are then thrown at us on a daily basis, not only from him, but also his posse. only, if you listen and it seems many folks do. The end result? Now allowing Americans and the world to set their watches {remember them?) by this perpetual continuation of flim flam.
However, that is seemingly not an issue. Why then might you then have this incredibly odd trust with a perpetual liar? I just do not understand.
Perhaps I'm old school. I take people at their word. Sorry, I simply cannot fathom, nor accept this concept as commonplace or as acceptable. These continuations, from the man who claims to be the Leader of the Free World, nor anyone else.
