Naperville Park Police welcome donations for Toys for Tots

Members of the Naperville Park District Police invite the community to contribute new, unwrapped toys for the 2018 DuPage County Toys for Tots program, hosted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Toys will be collected at various locations now through Sunday, Dec. 16.

"We look forward to brightening the holidays for children in need in our area, and thank everyone in advance for their support," said Chief Carl Schnibben.

Collection sites are:

• Park District Administration Building, located at 320 W. Jackson Ave. Hours of operations are: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays;

• Central Maintenance Facility, located at 427 Martin Avenue. Hours of operations are: 7 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays;

• Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, located at 305 W. Jackson Ave. Hours of operation are: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday;

• Fort Hill Activity Center, located at 20 Fort Hill Drive. Hours of operation are: 5 a.m.-10 p.m. weekdays, Saturday, 6 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, and 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday;

• 95th Street Center, located at 2244 W. 95th St. Hours of operation are: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays;

• Knoch Knolls Nature Center, located at 320 Knoch Knolls Rd. Hours of operation are: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays, and 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturdays.

• Santa House, presented by Woody Buick GMC, located at the corner of Jackson Avenue and Webster Street on the Naperville Riverwalk. Toys may be dropped off at Santa House for Toys for Tots Nov. 30 through Dec. 16. Check www.napervilleparks.org/santahouse for event days and hours.

Toys for Tots accepts only new, unwrapped toys. Please do not donate stuffed animals or toy weapons.
