Wheeling man charged with sexually abusing young girl

A 32-year-old Wheeling man was ordered held on $1 million cash bail Thursday on charges that he sexually abused an 8-year-old girl.
That means Angel Cuevas-Bibiano, who's charged with predatory criminal sexual assault, must post his entire bail to be released from custody.
Prosecutors say Cuevas-Bibiano abused the girl in October while she slept in a bed with a sibling. The girl immediately told her mother, who took her to the hospital for an examination, said Alli Kudzy Cook County assistant state's attorney.
If convicted, Cuevas-Bibiano faces up to 30 years in prison. He next appears in court on Dec. 20.
