Wauconda library wants you to shop local

The Wauconda Area Library is encouraging patrons to shop at small businesses this month. If you show a receipt from a small business in the Wauconda area to a staffer at the adult help desk, you'll be entered in a drawing to win a prize from a local business. The promotion runs through Friday, Dec. 14, at the library, 801 N. Main St.
