Naperville Rotary collecting winter coats

The Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise has launched its 20th annual clothing drive to benefit those in need of warm winter clothing.

Rotary volunteers are placing boxes in the community to receive donations of coats, jackets, hats, gloves, scarves and mittens. All sizes, infant through XXXL adult, are accepted.

The annual drive runs through Friday, Dec. 14.

"The mission of Rotary is 'Service Above Self,' and we are proud to partner with Hesed House, DuPage PADS and Sharing Connections to deliver warm clothing to those in our area who are in need in the winter season," said Jeanette Oakeshott, Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise president.

"The Naperville community has always been very generous, and we look forward to another successful winter clothing drive,"

As the need grows, the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise continues to attract new collection partners. This year, in collaboration with the Naperville Fire Department, collection boxes will be placed in all Naperville fire stations.

Additional locations include Anderson's Bookshop, le, Casey's Fine Foods, Fair Oaks Ford, DuPage Universalist Unitarian Church, Dutchman Heating, Kroehler YMCA, Naper Settlement, Naperville Park District facilities, Naperville Bank & Trust in downtown and Fort Hill, the Views of Naperville and the offices of Coldwell Banker Naperville Boulevard, Naperville Clinical Associates, Newman Architecture and Wells Fargo Advisors.
