Join in Batavia's fifth annual Holiday House Decorating Contest

Channel your inner Clark Griswold and show off your holiday spirit.

The fifth annual Holiday House Decorating Contest is open to all Batavia Park District residents.

Prizes will be awarded for Most Original, Best Theme, Best Use of Lights and People's Choice.

Displays will be judged from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5 by district staff.

The People's Choice category will be conducted online. All entries will be posted to the Batavia Park District Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BataviaParkDistrict for one week starting Thursday, Dec. 6.

The entry with the most likes by noon Thursday, Dec. 13, will be named the People's Choice winner.

Winners will receive a park district prize pack and a sign to display in their yard. Addresses will be published unless otherwise specified.

The registration deadline is Tuesday, Dec. 4. Cost is $5 to enter.
