Lincolnshire garbage, yard waste pickup delayed

Due to Monday's inclement weather, garbage and yard waste pickup for Lincolnshire residents will be delayed one day this week, to Thursday. Leaf collection for residents living east of Riverwoods will resume Thursday if conditions allow. In the event conditions do not allow leaf collection activities to restart Thursday, they will resume as soon as possible and may extend into the week of Dec. 3 in order to complete the last scheduled pickup east of Riverwoods Road. On Saturday, the village's contractor was able to complete the last scheduled pickup for all areas west of Riverwoods Road. Anyone who has questions should call Waste Management at (800) 796-9696.
