York to honor Dukes of Distinction

Do you know a York High School graduate who has made an impact?

Elmhurst Unit District 205 is seeking nominations for the York Distinguished Alumni Program's 2019 Dukes of Distinction at http://bit.ly/2DK7aVm. Nominees must be a York graduate of 10-plus years who have distinguished themselves through significant and/or extraordinary accomplishments, service and/or an outstanding contribution to society.

Candidates must serve as a positive influence, while exemplifying the honored York traditions of teamwork and selflessness and embody the ideals of the school and district. Anyone older than 18 may nominate a distinguished alumnus; the nominator does not need to be a York graduate.

Posthumous nominations will be accepted, but self-nominations will not be accepted. Note: In case of multiple nominations for the same person, all will be considered.

Please be as specific as possible when submitting the application and include as much biographical information about the nominee as possible. Nominations must be received by April 30, 2019, to be considered for a Fall 2019 York Distinguished Alumni Award. Those received after April 30 will be considered for the following year.
