A connection to a kinder world
I would like to take the opportunity to express my appreciation for the beautifully written editorial in the Nov. 21 Daily Herald, "These are American Values? Trump condones murder of a U.S. resident with an 'America first' policy devoid of our ideals."
There have been low moments since January 2016, far too numerous to even recount, but surely this cruel disregard for an American resident's heinous murder is beyond egregious.
Trump registered eight companies during his presidential campaign all tied to hotel interests in Saudi Arabia.
"They buy apartments from me," Trump said. "They spend $40 million, $50 million. Am I supposed to dislike them? I like them very much."
So there you have it, Trump first.
As stated in your excellent editorial his justification for selling arms to Saudi Arabia, creating the Holocaust that is now occurring in Yemen, speaks volumes of the mendacious soul of this man.
Your thoughtfully written editorial allowed me to feel more connected to a kinder world and I thank you for that.
