Rolling Meadows recycling

Sunday's snowstorm has caused a delay in recycling collection and the need for brush collection in Rolling Meadows, city officials announced Monday. This week, through Saturday, Dec. 1, recycling collection by Flood Brothers will be delayed by one day. For any questions or missed recycling collections, contact public works at (847) 963-0500. The snowstorm also caused widespread wind damage to trees and bushes. Public works will provide curbside collection of damaged tree limbs throughout the city beginning Monday, Dec. 3. Brush collection services will be provided on days when weather conditions permit, starting at Wilke Road (east limits of the city) and proceeding to the west until one collection has been done on each city street. Due to weather conditions, brush collection operations may take several weeks to complete.
