Santa on Broadway returns to Aurora

The Jolly Old Elf is stopping by shops along Broadway in downtown Aurora this December as Santa on Broadway returns.

Children can enjoy a visit and pictures with Santa from noon to 3 p.m. at the following locations:

• Saturday, Dec. 1: Santa visits La Quinta de los Reyes, 36 E. New York St.

• Friday, Dec. 7: Santa stops by First Fridays from 6 to 9 p.m. and visits PME Cake, 35 N. Broadway.

• Saturday, Dec. 8: Santa visits Cinco de Mayo, 102 N. Lake St.

• Saturday, Dec. 15: Santa visits the soon-to-open Tavern on Broadway, 24 N. Broadway.

The events are free and cookies will be donated by La Central Bakery and Cinco de Mayo Bakery.

Santa on Broadway is sponsored by Broadway business owners with assistance from Aurora Downtown, a nonprofit organization of business and property owners in downtown.

Families are encouraged to bring their camera or phone for photos with Santa. Children will also receive a free candy cane.
