Even in snow, Santa draws a crowd to Bensenville

It's not just anyone who can draw a crowd to an outdoor venue on a rainy, snowy and cold Sunday afternoon in the suburbs.

Santa Claus, however, has that kind of star power, as the jolly old elf brought out some hearty and festive fans to downtown Bensenville for the village's Holiday Magic celebration.

The big man in the red suit was greeted with cheers and carols as he arrived on the Yuletide Express.

Besides a chance for kids to meet with Santa and share a wish list, the festivities also including the lighting of the village tree, music provided by the Holy Family Catholic School choir and others, live reindeer and more.
