Help provide recreation for all on Giving Tuesday Nov. 27
Imagine enriching the life of a veteran with a disability or chronic illness by providing life-changing physical therapy or personal training sessions.
Imagine seeing the smile on a child's face as she learns how to swim and be safe in the water, or giving underserved youth the opportunity to participate in a camp program and just enjoy being a kid!
The Fox Valley Park Foundation passionately believes everyone deserves access to recreation!
The foundation strives to improve the quality of life for all residents - physically, mentally and socially - and create a culture of connectivity and inclusive experiences by providing opportunities to participate in Fox Valley Park District programs regardless of financial capability.
On this Giving Tuesday, Nov. 27, they need you to help them, help others.
The goal is to raise $10,000 to send 50 kids to camp, teach 50 kids to swim and help 10 disabled veterans improve their physical well-being.
On Nov. 27, your gift will help make access to recreation for all a reality. Go to www.foxvalleyparkfoundation.org or www.facebook.com/FoxValleyParkFoundation.
People can donate at any time but Fox Valley Park Foundation is promoting Giving Tuesday as individuals consider their annual giving intentions.
