Kane County

• The passenger's-side window of an SUV on the 1100 block of Washington Avenue near Batavia was broken between 11 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. Nov. 5, and a bag was stolen from the vehicle.

• A 2.5-carat engagement ring, valued at $10,000, was stolen Oct. 24 or Oct. 25 from a house on the 5N800 block of Route 25 near St. Charles.

• A red Yamaha Banshee all-terrain vehicle was stolen between 6:50 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Nov. 8 from a backyard on the 1700 block of Liberty Street near Aurora.

• The rear passenger's-side window of a car on the 700 block of Gerten Avenue near Aurora was broken between 12:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 9, and a wallet containing numerous identification and credit cards, along with $80, was stolen.
