Outlook: Coach Steve Rowland is returning to the job he held four years ago. "I am so excited about the leadership returning from last year's squad," said the veteran coach. " Coming back to coach at CLA and to have this group of girls is exciting." The Chargers are young (nine freshmen and two sophomores) but Rowland said there are still girls who the younger players can look up to. "We had a fantastic summer league and workouts," Rowland added. "And we will have a totally new-look Chargers team from the past few years. The girls and I are excited about the season and ready to get it underway."
