Sundance opens at Deer Park Town Center

A store that's part of a company actor Robert Redford founded has opened at Deer Park Town Center on Rand Road.

Sundance is a lifestyle retailer of women's and men's apparel, footwear, jewelry, accessories, art and home décor, said store manager Rebecca Schobel. It was founded in 1969 by Robert Redford when he purchased land at the base of Mount Timpanogos in Utah's Wasatch Mountains. Since then, the business has grown to have an assortment of products and retail stores in several states, including the new location in Deer Park.

Representatives from the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and the village celebrated Sundance's opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week.
