Enjoy 'Music in the Stacks' at Rakow branch

Gail Borden Public Library continues its "Music in the Stacks" series with "Grateful Gathering" from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at the Rakow Branch, 2751 W. Bowes Road, west of Randall Road in Elgin.

John Duggleby, singer and songwriter, will perform songs of happiness and gratitude for the Thanksgiving season.

On Saturday, Dec. 8, the Five Reed Quartet, a four-person ensemble featuring a B flat clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, and contrabass clarinet, will perform festive tunes and talk about their instruments.
