Arlington Heights businesses staying open late Nov. 14

The Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the Arlington Heights Holiday Twilight Shop, a one-evening-only event Wednesday, Nov. 14, to encourage consumers to shop local during extended hours in the downtown.

Attendees can get exclusive deals at participating businesses from 4:30 to 8 p.m. with a special shopper passport, as well as snacks and giveaways. An after-party is scheduled from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Metropolis Ballroom that includes a drink ticket, pasta and salad bar and raffles. The shopping passport, open to all ages, is $10. The passport and 21+ after-party is $20.
