Go Gurnee walk set for Saturday

The Gurnee Park District is hosting another GO GURNEE Walk on Saturday morning in the Van Patten Woods Forest Preserve near Wadsworth. Like other community walk events hosted by the park district, participants are invited to bring along their dogs. Now a mainstay in more than two dozen villages across Lake County, the "GO" program started at the Gurnee Park District in 2016. The walk will step off from the forest preserve parking lot at 9:30 a.m. The event is free and preregistration is available on the park district's website.
