Elk Grove Village Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony

Elk Grove Village will host its 21st annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 23. This yearly event has been kicking-off Elk Grove Village's holiday season since 1998. The 2018 ceremony will feature a holiday performance by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap!

Following the performance, Gary Puckett will join Mayor Johnson in throwing the switch to light up the Village's Holiday Tree and turn on over 250,000 lights around the Municipal Complex, Elk Grove Public Library, and the Elk Grove Park District Pavilion.

A special fireworks display will follow the tree lighting, announcing the entrance of Santa and his elves. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided. The Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on the Village Green at 901 Wellington Avenue, the holiday concert will begin at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Tree Lighting and firework display at 5:30 p.m.
