GOP incumbent Wojnicki wins another 4 years in Kane County District 15

Republican Barb Wojnicki, who represents Kane County Board District 15, came out victorious Tuesday against Democratic challenger Lucas Strom.

With all precincts reporting, Wojnicki secured 6,920 votes to Strom's 3,997, unofficial tallies show.

History, conservation and open space are among the top priorities for Wojnicki, a St. Charles resident who said she wants to make sure any new development or land use will be beneficial to the area.

Strom, a Maple Park resident, is an agricultural business executive who also operates his family's farm. He said his professional background and knowledge of the community would have made him a good representative of constituents.
