Grains mostly higher, Livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery gained 5 cents at $5.1140 a bushel; Dec. corn was up .40 cent at $3.73 a bushel; Dec. oats rose 2 cents at $2.91 bushel while Nov. soybeans fell 7 cents at 8.6960 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec.live cattle was off .98 cent at $1.1638 a pound; Nov. feeder cattle fell 1.58 cents at $1.50 a pound; Dec. lean hogs 1ost 1.28 cents at .5612 a pound.
