Qualified or fear mongering?

Mr. Mendrick's flyer for sheriff of DuPage County actually reads:

"Fighting illegal immigration" - Really in DuPage County? Is this our primary concern?

"Will ensure our county will not become a Sanctuary county" - Really? The number one issue?

"Make our community safer by ending illegal immigration" - Really in DuPage County?

"Will protect our children" - From whom? Illegal aliens?

Wow. Fear, fear, fear, and targeted hatred … hmmmmmm …

Hands down. Greg Whalen, a Democrat, is my choice. He is a level-headed professional who is an experienced paramedic, firefighter with background in law enforcement and public safety. He has well-articulated training goals for DuPage County staff and supports a strongly coordinated countywide safety and law enforcement plan to benefit all of DuPage County residents.
