Vet Fest set for Saturday in downtown Palatine

The 14th annual Vet Fest will run from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday in downtown Palatine. Vet Fest will be held at JL's Pizza and Sports Bar, 19 N. Bothwell St. Proceeds generated from Vet Fest are used to purchase comfort items and recreational goods for veterans at Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago. The day will include a barbecue, meat raffles, live auctions, silent auctions and 50/50 raffles. For more information, check vetfestillinois.org.
