Friends of Palatine Library book sale coming up

Friends of Palatine Library will be holding a holiday used-book sale from Nov. 16-18.

The private, nonprofit organization will conduct the sale from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 16; 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 17; and 12:30 to 3 p.m. Nov. 18, at Palatine Public Library, 700 N. North Court.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to help the library in areas such as the summer and winter reading programs and new collections. Visitors can expect to find like-new, donated items including books from a variety of genres, CDs, DVDs, comic books and graphic art.
