For lower taxes, better service as treasurer

I've lived in Lake County for the past 23 years. I've seen the changes in our county government and they haven't been for the better. Our taxes have gone up, services have gone down and corruption is on the rise.

Government employees spent thousands on lavish meals and travel and stuck us with the bill. We need someone in the treasurer's office who will make sure that it doesn't happen again. That's why I'm backing Holly Kim. Holly thinks we should abolish the use of procurement cards that allowed for that radical spending. Holly also thinks that the treasurer's salary should be in line with that of the average Lake County resident, which is why she's pledging to donate $40,000 back to charity.

Holly helped lower my property taxes by 5 percent in Vernon Township and has helped put government consolidation efforts on the ballot. She knows how to streamline government, increase transparency, and save you and me a whole lot of cash.
