A chance for change
On Nov. 6, we have a chance for change. An opportunity to regain confidence in our leaders and put the focus on integrity. We can't afford to make decisions based on the candidate's party. Instead, we must turn our focus to the individual and their character. By the very definition, "character" is a person's moral excellence and I can't think of any individual with higher moral excellence than Robin O'Connor, the Democratic candidate for Lake County Clerk.
I have had the pleasure of working with Robin for more than 20 years. She is a dynamic educator, accomplished speaker, community fundraiser and tireless volunteer. Robin has a doctorate pending in Leadership Management and instructs part-time at Northwestern University.
She was elected for three terms as a Libertyville Township Trustee and remains active with the Illinois Teacher Union, the Libertyville Sunrise Rotary and other key associations. Robin is a champion for all people and works seamlessly in a high-tech world, using her technology skills to streamline office operations and increase efficiency. Her unique strengths, combined with an outstanding record of public service, will bring a fresh and insightful perspective that Lake County needs for a successful future in our ever-changing world.
Robin has been a public servant for more than 30 years. No one is more qualified to bring confidence, integrity, dignity and respect back to government and make the changes needed in the office of Lake County clerk. Change can be hard, but sometimes it's necessary to get to a better place. Make the change on Nov. 6 and vote for Robin O'Connor.
