Lake County extends Rollins Road closure to Nov. 16

Lake County transportation officials say the closure of Rollins Road between Fairfield and Wilson roads near Ingleside will be extended until Friday, Nov. 16.

The road has been closed since Oct. 15 while crews work to replace the Eagle Creek culvert. Officials hoped to reopen the roadway this week, but say various delays due to utility conflicts, weather and other unforeseen circumstances require them to extend the closure.

A detour travels from Fairfield Road to Route 134 to Wilson Road. Local traffic will have access on Rollins Road from Elm Avenue west to Wilson Road and from Grove Avenue east to Fairfield Road.
