Needed advocate for small businesses

As the voice of small business, NFIB knows that good small business policy begins with electing pro-small business candidates. That's why NFIB Fed PAC has formally endorsed Congressman Randy Hultgren for Illinois' 14th Congressional District.

Being a small-business owner myself, I know firsthand the importance of having proper representation in Congress to ensure that American small businesses can flourish. Congressman Hultgren supported pro-small business legislation such as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act last year.

Congressman Hultgren recently visited my business in Virgil (Maple Park), Midwest Groundcovers LLC, in August 2018 for a "Small Business Challenge." The congressman spent the day learning the ins and outs of the business, meeting my employees and listening to the challenges we're currently facing such as filling open positions and immigration reform. He has been a great advocate for Main Street Illinoisans in the U.S. Congress and has earned a 100 percent voting record from NFIB.

Small businesses play a vital role in our economy and it's important we have representation in Congress that will produce pro-small business policies. Congressman Hultgren will continue to be an advocate for small businesses.
