Board transparency

The Daily Herald writeup on Oct. 16 talks about Mathias and Didech. It will be good if Adam Didech becomes the new Lake County Board member for District 20. Mathias is not transparent at all. I for one tried contacting him several times about a voting problem in our district. I left several email messages and even called his office. Never received a response at all. Either he was too busy with other places he works at or he really does not care about his constituents or he is getting too old and just does not care anymore and only wants the title. The least he could have done was acknowledge receiving my messages. But there was nothing. When you do not respond to people who are in your district, it is really bad and shows you are lacking basic communication skills.
