Four charged in Warren Township vehicle burglaries

A pair of Chicago men and two juveniles are facing multiple charges stemming from break-ins to 18 vehicles near the Grandwood Park area in Warren Township this week, Lake County authorities said Wednesday.

Jevon D. Anderson, 18, of the 11100 block of South Homewood Avenue, and Kevion A. Minor, 20, of the 400 block of East 90th Street, are charged with felony counts of aggravated identity theft, identity theft and receiving lost or mislaid credit cards, authorities said. Minor also faces a misdemeanor theft charge, authorities said.

Lake County sheriff's police said deputies learned during their investigation of the burglaries that suspects were staying at a motel on the 600 block of North Green Bay Road in Waukegan.

A vehicle used linked to the suspects was found in the motel parking lot Oct. 30, and all four were found in possession of the stolen items after they were taken into custody, sheriff's police said.

Anderson and Minor remain held in the Lake County jail on $20,000 bail and $25,000 bail, respectively, officials said.

Sheriff's officials did not release the identity or the charges pending against the juveniles.

The burglaries remain under investigation, and additional charges are possible, authorities said.
