Latin dance program at Palatine Public Library District

Palatine Public Library District will host an adult program called "The Joys of Latin Music and Dance" on Nov. 8. Set from 7 to 8:15 p.m., the free program with Sharon Javit will illustrate the alluring history, romance and rhythms of salsa, cumbia, bachata and merengue. Javit has danced for 23 years.
