The skinny: The Blues, thought to be one of the stronger teams in the Western Conference, are off to a 2-4-3 start and have allowed 12 goals the last two games. "Heck, my job should be in question," coach Mike Yeo told reporters after St. Louis blew a second straight 2-goal lead in a 7-4 loss to the Blue Jackets Thursday. According to espn.com, the Blues kept the locker room closed for 23 minutes after the game. "We're not working hard," Alexander Steen said. "Other teams are outworking us and taking chances." ... Among 48 goalies who have played in at least three games, Jake Allen ranks 42nd in save percentage (.876) and goals-allowed average (3.93). ... The Hawks have already defeated St. Louis twice this season, both times in OT. Jonathan Toews and Alex DeBrincat provided the game-winners in 5-4 and 4-3 victories.
