Feder: Former Daily Herald reporter named Chicago Reporter editor-in-chief, publisher

Fernando Diaz, a former reporter at the Daily Herald and former managing editor of the Spanish-language daily Hoy Chicago, has been named editor-in-chief and publisher of The Chicago Reporter, Robert Feder writes.
His appointment, effective November 19, was announced Thursday by the nonprofit Community Renewal Society.
