Hey Nonny in Arlington Heights is going all out for its Grand Opening weekend, which kicks off Friday, Oct. 26, with two sets from Chicago singer-songwriter Andrew Belle at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Louisiana zydeco ace C.J. Chenier will keep the party going at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Hey Nonny, at 10 S. Vail Ave., combines a music listening room with space for up to 150 guests and a farm-to-table gastropub in one venue. 'Bouncing Around the Room'

Howl O' Ween
Bring your dogs in costume to compete in two events this weekend: The Howl O' Ween Dog Parade happens at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Peck Farm Park, 4038 Kaneville Road, Geneva. Then the Halloween Hound Parade marches at noon Sunday, Oct. 28, at Towner Green near the Long Grove Confectionary, 114 Old McHenry Road, Long Grove. Both events are free. Spooky symphony
The DuPage Symphony performs excerpts from John Williams' film scores, Mussorgsky's "Night on Bald Mountain" and other macabre favorites as part of its "Halloween Spooktacular" at North Central College's Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E.
