Habitat for Humanity looking for volunteers

Aurora area residents are invited to learn about Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity, meet homeowners and have an opportunity to pound some nails Saturday, Oct. 27.

The Montgomery-based nonprofit will sponsor "Building on the Story," an information-HandsOn event, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at 1551 Solfisburg Ave., Aurora, site of a Habitat home under construction.

Volunteers must be 18 years old. Refreshments will be served.

Partnering homeowners will discuss their stories. Habitat officials will take questions and provide information about employee team building days, employee donation programs, in-kind product donations and corporate sponsorships.
