Boys cross country: Lake Zurich's Gilboy second at regional

At the Class 3A boys cross county regional at Grant Saturday, Barrington won the team title and will advance along with Lake Zurich, Jacobs, Palatine, Cary-Grove and Dundee-Crown.

Jack Gilboy led Lake Zurich with a second-place finish in 15:48.

Richard Jacobo of Palatine won the individual title with a 15:40.

Also qualifying as individuals were Justin Splitt of Grant (16:25) and Diego Giron of Round Lake (16:48).
