Mathias endorsed for Lake County Board District 20

Republican Sidney Mathias served as a state representative for 14 years before joining the Lake County Board four years ago. He faces Democrat Adam Didech for the District 20 seat. They agree on many issues with Route 53 as an exception. Mathias is in favor, while Didech, a PR consultant, opposes the expansion. Mathias, who says he is running for the last time, has made progress with transportation and open spaces issues. Mathias is endorsed.
