Endorsement: Kojzarek for Kane County Board District 19

Republican Kurt Kojzarek of Gilberts has represented District 19 since 2012. He is challenged by Democrat Mohammed "Mo" Iqbal, an Elgin attorney and civil/structural engineer. Iqbal opposes the stipend and benefits board members receive and wants to improve a portion of Randall Road near Route 20. Kojzarek, as chairman of the Development Committee, changed the proposed Settler's Hill cross country course construction plans to form a positive revenue facility. He advocates working across party lines to promote cooperation and compromise. Kojzarek is endorsed.
