Endorsement: Calabresa for Lake County Board District 15

Longtime incumbent Republican Carol Calabresa is seeking re-election to Lake County Board District 15, a post she's held since 1986. She's challenged by Democrat Jennifer Clark, an economics professor and political newcomer. Both are good choices bringing admirable qualities to the table. An energetic Clark brings fresh ideas. But Calabresa has accomplished much for the forest preserves and on opioid initiatives. Calabresa is endorsed, with the hope that whatever happens, Clark will stay active in local government.
