Motorist badly hurt in crash near Lindenhurst
A Wisconsin motorist was badly injured early Saturday in a crash near Lindenhurst, authorities said.
The accident was reported about 1:15 a.m. on Route 45 north of West Grass Lake Road.
The 43-year-old Union Grove man was headed south on Route 45 in a 2003 Dodge Caravan when the vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane and went off the east side of the road and into a ditch, Lake County sheriff's police said.
The Dodge rolled over, throwing the driver.
The driver was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville with broken bones.
The accident is under investigation. Police believe alcohol might have been a factor.
