New patio for Five Roses Pub in Rosemont

Five Roses Pub in Rosemont's entertainment district is adding another patio with room for 30 seats to complement its existing outdoor space.

The bar received permission from the village board this week to place tables and chairs in a new patio near the bar's front entrance at Parkway Bank Park. The patio will be adjacent to the neighboring Kings Dining & Entertainment. Both venues have the same owner.

The village won't be charging Five Roses additional rent for the space, since it would help bring in additional revenue, officials said.
